วันที่ 17 พ.ย. 58 เวลา 08.00 น. พระแสงเฮือง นรินฺโท ผอ. กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ผู้แทน มจร พร้อมผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่ มจร สักการะและร่วมอัญเชิญพระบรมสารีริกธาตุจากอาคารหอประชุมพุทธมณฑล จ.นครปฐม มายังพระมณฑปในห้องรับรองพิเศษ (VIP) ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ โดยมีพระวิเทศพรหมคุณ ผู้แทนมหาเถรสมาคมเป็นประธาน พร้อมพระสงฆ์ 4 รูป คณะพระมหาเถระจากศรีลังกา ฯพณฯ วิษณุ เครืองาม ผู้แทนรัฐบาลไทย พร้อมข้าราชการ 14 ท่าน และรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงพุทธศาสนาของศรีลังกา พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่ อัญเชิญพระบรมสารีริกธาตุกลับประเทศศรีลังกา เมื่อเวลา 12.30 น. น้อมอัญเชิญส่งพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ ขึ้นเครื่องบินกลับไปยังประเทศสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมประชาธิปไตยศรีลังกา

They have invited the relics from Phutthamonthon to VIP Room at Suvarnabhumi Airport. At the VIP Room, Phra Vithespramkhun as the chairman, on behalf of The Thai Supreme Sangha Council together with 4 monks, Deputy Prime Minister, Mr.Wissanu Krea-ngam was with 14 officials and the Ministry of Buddha Sasana of Sri Lanka with staffs, who have invited the relics back Sri Lanka at 12:30. After having temporarily established the relics for Thai people to worship at Phutthamonthon , Nakhon Pathom Province since 1-16 Nov 2558, the relics was invited back the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
