วันที่ 29 ก.พ. 59 เวลา 08.30 น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก. ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการประชุมประจำปี 59 ของสมาคมนิสิตลาว ที่เรียน มจร โดยมีผู้ร่วมประชุมได้แก่ ผู้แทนสมาคมนักศึกษาสงฆ์ลาว จาก มจร ส่วนกลาง จากวิทยาเขต ขอนแก่น เชียงใหม่ อุบลราชธานี นครพนม หนองคาย เป็นต้น ณ ห้องประชุมเธียร์เตอร์ โซน บี อาคารเรียนรวม มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย อยุธยา

On 29 Feb 2559,Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU was invited to open the annual conference of Lao Monk Association in Thailand 2016 at Theater Zone D, MCU, Ayutthaya. He was for the chief guest to open the meeting of Lao student, who came from around Thailand. They came to have been studying at Universities in Thailand such as Khonkaen Campus, Chiangmai Campus, Ubonrachathani Campus, Nakhonphranom Campus, Nongkhai Campus, Sakonnakhorn Academic classroom etc.
