วันที่ 2 – 3 ต.ค. 2559 พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต พร้อมผู้ติดตาม ร่วมงานพิธีให้ศีลแก่อุบาสกอุบาสิกา จำนวน 1,008 คน ณ วัดหยวนทง เมืองคุนหมิง มณฑลยูนนาน สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในการนี้ พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ ได้บรรยายธรรมภาคภาษาอังกฤษ เรื่อง ธรรมในชีวิตประจำวัน

On 2-3 October, 2016, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU is along with staff of International Relation Division, MCU to be officially invited for given 5 precepts ceremony over 1,000 Chinese lay Buddhist, who are coming to observe precepts and Vice Rector also preaches Dhamma talks to them at Yuan Tong temple, Kunming, Yunnan, China.
