วันที่ ๒๓ พ.ย. ๕๘ เวลา ๑๓.๓๐ น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก.ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต มจร ร่วมพิธีทอดกฐินสามัคคีแด่พระภิกษุสงฆ์ผู้จำพรรษาครบไตรมาส ร่วมถวายปัจจัยเพื่อสร้างวัดมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชูทิศ และขอเมตตา และชวนผู้ร่วมสร้างเพิ่มเติม คือ ๑. พระธรรมมงคลเจดีย์ ๒.นางสุนีย์ สุขเสรี และครอบครัว ๓. นายสมบูรณ์-นางไกร ทำนา และครอบครัว โดยมีพระพรหมบัณฑิต อธิการบดีเป็นประธานในพิธี ทอดกฐินสามัคคี ณ อาคาร มวก ๔๘ พรรษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย อยุธยา

On 23 Nov 2558 at 13:30, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU had to join the Kathina ceremony (robe offering), which was the united Kathina for a new building temple at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Lamsai, Wangnoi, Ayutthaya, Thailand. The Kathina ceremony was led by Prof.Dr.Phrabrahmapundit, the Rector of MCU.
