วันที่ 3 ตุลาคม 58 พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก. ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต พร้อมคณะร่วมพิธีมอบปริญญา ทางวิทยาลัยสมารตุงคะได้อาราธนาให้พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์กล่าวสุนทรพจน์ในงานมอบปริญญาของวิทยาลัยพุทธศาสตร์สมารตุงคะ ในงานนี้มีการกล่าวเปิดงานโดยท่านธรรมาจารย์อูโตโม่ ผอ.วิทยาลัย ต่อจากนั้นพระ ดร.คำหล้า ธมฺมสามิ ผอ.หลักสูตรปริญญาโท นำเสนองานวิจัย จากนั้นมีการมอบปริญญา เสร็จแล้ว ผู้แทนบัณฑิต มหาบัณฑิต นำปฏิญานตน ณ วิทยาลัยพุทธศาสตร์สมารตุงคะ เมืองโซโล ชวา อินโดนิเซีย
