วันที่ 3 ก.ค. 2559 พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต มจร พร้อมด้วย ผู้บริหาร พระมหาสุเทพ สุปณฺฑิโต หัวหน้าภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา และ เจ้าหน้าที่ มจร นำส่งเกียรติบัตร “พระธรรมทูตต้นแบบ ในการเผยแผ่พุทธศาสนาในต่างประเทศ” ที่ มจร ถวายแด่พระราชภาวนาวิมล วิ. ในงานอายุวัฒนมงคล 90 ปี ด้วย โดยในงานนี้มีพระธรรมทูตสายต่างประเทศและพุทธศาสนิกชนในต่างประเทศ มาร่วมงาน ณ วัดพุทธปทีป กรุงลอนดอน สหราชอาณาจักร
