วันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2559 เวลา 13.00 น. มจร จัดพิธีทำสามีจิกรรม ในช่วงเทศกาลเข้าพรรษา โดยในพิธีมีพระธรรมปัญญาบดี นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย เป็นประธานจุดธูปเทียน จากนั้นผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่และนิสิต ทำสามีจิกรรมแด่ พระธรรมปัญญาบดี จากนั้นนิสิตถวายกรวยเทียนแพแด่ผู้บริหาร เช่น นายกองค์กรบริหารนิสิต ถวายกรวยเทียนแพแด่ พระพรหมบัณฑิต ศ., ดร. อธิการบดี โดยมีผู้แทนนิสิตต่างประเทศถวายกรวยเทียนแพแด่ พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ณ อาคาร มวก. 48 พรรษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย (มจร) อยุธยา
