วันที่ 12 สิงหาคม 2559 เวลา 14.00 น. พระแสงเฮือง นรินฺโท, ดร. รักษาการผู้อำนวยการกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์วิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูตและ เจ้าหน้าที่กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มจร ถวายมุทิตาแด่ พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ผจล.วัดอรุณ ฯ เนื่องในโอกาสฉลองการได้รับสมณศักดิ์จากประเทศสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมาร์ ในตำแหน่ง อัคคมหาสัทธัมมโชติกะธะชะ โดยในพิธีมี พระราชวรเมธี รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหาร เป็นประธานนำ เจริญชยมงคลคาถา โดยมีพระเทพเมธี รักษาการเจ้าอาวาสวัดอรุณฯ เป็นประธานสงฆ์และกล่าวสัมปสาทนียกถา โดยมี รศ.ดร.สุรพล สุยะพรหม รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการทั่วไป กล่าวสุนทรพจน์ โดยมีพระมหาสุเทพ สุปณฺฑิโต หัวหน้าภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมนุษยวิทยา เป็นพิธีกร โดยมีพระสงฆ์ พุทธศาสนิกชนชาวไทย และชาวเมียนมาร์ร่วมงานคับคั่ง ณ พระอุโบสถ วัดอรุณราชวราราม กรุงเทพมหานคร

ภาพ : กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์On 12th Aug, 2016, at 14:00, Dr. Phra Seng Hurng Narindo, Acting Director International Relations Division was to lead staffs of International Relations Division, lecturers of Dhammaduta College and devotees from different places to hold the congratulation ceremony for Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU, who has been promoted to confer a religious title as “AGGAMAHA SADDHAMMA JOTIKADHAJA” from the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Phra Sophonvachirabhorn was conferred a religious title as “AGGAMAHA SADDHAMMA JOTIKADHAJA” because he has done lots of Buddhist activities inside country and overseas.
In this occasion for celebrating congratulation ceremony for Phra Sophonvachirabhorn was held at Wat Arunrajavararam, Bangkok, there were many such as executives, lecturers and staffs of MCU, Thai and Myanmar devotees to join the event which was presided by Most Ven. Phra Thepmethee, Acting the Abbot of Wat Arunrajavararam.
