Venerable Dr. Seng Hurng has delivered talk on “Significance of Asarnha Bucha Day” at The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India in Bangkok.

On Thursday, 10 July 2025. The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India in Bangkok, celebrated “Guru Purnima & Asarnha Bucha Day”. An insightful academic talk on the topic “Significance of Guru in Thai and Indian Culture” was delivered by Phraguru Vamadevamuni (Brahman Bhishma Ransibrahmankul), Royal Brahmin of the Thai Royal household.

Venerable Dr. Seng Hurng, Lecturer & Vice Director, Dhammaduta College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University has also delivered talk on “Significance of Asarnha Bucha Day”.

An Indian Classical Dance (Kathak) recital was presented by Ms. Pavanee Kalvakalva, Ms. Ingkarat Sivamatheewit and Ms. Hemali Dushyant Min. SVCC has showcased a short film on “Exposition of Holy Relics in Thailand” in the beginning of the program. The event was attended by around 115 participants, including distinguished guests and members of Indian Diaspora in Thailand at SVCC
