วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 17 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2558 เวลา 09.29 น. คณะสงฆ์ไทย – จีน ประกอบพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์ศาลาไทย “ศาลา 60 ปี พระพรหมบัณฑิต (ประยูร ธมฺมจิตฺโต)” โดยพระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจต่างประเทศ รก.ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัย พระธรรมทูต ผจล.วัดอรุณฯ ได้กล่าวรายงานถวายพระพรหมบัณฑิต (ประยูร ธมฺจิตฺโต) อธิการบดี มจร เมื่อได้เวลาอันเป็นมงคลฤกษ์ ได้เริ่มพิธีวางศิลาโดยพระพรหมบัณฑิต อธิการบดี มจร และพระธรรมาจารย์ ดร.จิ้ง ษิน (Most Ven. Ching Hsin) อธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยสงฆ์จิ้งเจี๋ย เป็นประธานร่วม พระธรรมสุธี นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมในพิธี พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร บุคลากร เจ้าหน้าที่ นิสิต มจร ชาวพุทธไทยและจีน ณ มณฑลพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์ศาลาไทย (ริมสระน้ำด้านขวาอาคารสำนักงานอธิการบดี) มจร อยุธยา

It was a report by Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU, who is the spokesperson, when the auspicious occasion of the time was being to Phrabrahmapundit, Rector of MCU with Most Ven. Ching Hsin, Rector of Ching Chueh Buddhist Sangha University and including administrators, others staffs of MCU together for laying foundation stone of new building as marked the 60th birthday anniversary of Phrabrahmapundit at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Ayutthaya.
