วันที่ 13 – 14 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2558 พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก.ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต เป็นผู้แทน มจร พร้อมคณะ ร่วมฉลอง 90 ปี วิทยาลัยสงฆ์หมินหนาน ซึ่งจัดอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ และได้หารือเรื่องความร่วมมือกับผู้บริหารวิทยาลัยสงฆ์หมินหนาน (Xiamen Minnan Buddhist Academy) ณ วิทยาลัยสงฆ์หมินหนาน เมืองเซี๊ยะเหมิน ประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน
