๑ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๐ เวลา ๑๖.๐๐ น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ประธานดำเนินงานโครงการอบรมพระธรรมทูตสายต่างประเทศ รุ่นที่ ๒๓ พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ถวายการรับรอง พระพรหมสิทธิ กรรมการมหาเถรสมาคม เจ้าคณะภาค ๑๐ เจ้าอาวาสวัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร ประธานสำนักงานกำกับดูแลพระภิกษุไปต่างประเทศ ในโอกาสเป็นประธานเปิดโครงการอบรมพระธรรมทูตสายต่างประเทศ รุ่นที่ ๒๓ เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่ สมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ณ อาคาร มวก. ๔๘ พรรษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย อยุธยา
พิธีเปิดโครงการอบรมพระธรรมทูตสายต่างประเทศ รุ่น ๒๓ มีพระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ เป็นผู้กล่าวรายงาน โดยมีพระเดชพระคุณพระพรหมสิทธิ เป็นประธาน ได้ให้โอวาทแนวคิดและทิศทางในการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาในต่างประเทศแก่ผู้เข้าอบรมในโครงการฯ และกล่าวเปิดโครงการ ฯ
สำหรับโครงการอบรมพระธรรมทูตฯ ทำการเปิดอบรมตั้งแต่วันที่ ๑ มีนาคม – ๒๙ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๐ โดยมีกิจกรรมการอบรม ดังนี้ ภาควิชาการ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ภาควิปัสสนากัมมัฏฐาน ๓๐ วัน ณ ศูนย์พัฒนาแคมป์สน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ การฝึกทักษะและประสบการณ์พิเศษ การฝึกภาคปฏิบัติ ศึกษาดูงาน ณ สถานสังเวชนียสถาน ประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล

On 1 Mar, 2560/2017, at 16.00, at MCU: Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU reports to Most Ven. Phrahmasiddhi, Chief Abbot of Wat Saket Ratch Wora Maha Wihan, Ecclesiastical Governor of Region 10, Member of the Executive Committee for the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, Chairman of the Committee of the Center of Ecclesiastical External Mission, about training Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus Class 23/2560 in this year, who came to open a ceremony of Training Program for Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus Class 23/2560. He shared his experiences related overseas how to understand about their culture, tradition, season and how to apply the Dhamma or the teachings of the Buddha to people there. The opening ceremony of Overseas Dhammaduta Bhikkhus Class 23/2560 is organized by Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU at auditorium hall, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Ayutthaya.
