On 29 Jun, 2560/2017 HONG KONG: Phra Sophonvachirabhorn, Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU was officially invited to be a speaker in the theme: “Dialogue between Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism along the Belt and Road” at Po Lin monastery, Hong Kong. There were many scholar from over 20 countries and witness in cerebrating the 20th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to its Motherland and the 25th anniversary of the inaugural of the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, Po Lin Monastery of Hong Kong, together with Mahachulalongkornrajavidayalaya University and Nangjing University Research Institute of Chinese Culture, Centre of Buddhist Studies of the University of Hong Kong for fast development of Hong Kong economy, technology, cultures and Buddhism.
