เมื่อ 8 ธันวาคม 2562 เวลา 10.00 น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย (มจร) พร้อมด้วย พระแสงเฮือง นรินฺโท, ดร. ผอ.กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พระมหาประยูร โชติวโร ผอ.กองกิจการนิสิต และ คณะ มจร รับอาราธนานิมนต์จากสภามหาวิทยาลัยเวียตนามให้ร่วมงานฉลองครบรอบตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยชาวพระพุทธศาสนาเวียตนาม ณ เมืองโฮจิมินท์ ประเทศเวียตนาม
จากนั้นเวลา 13.00 น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ และ คณะ มจร ได้ร่วมประชุมหารือกับ ดร.พระธรรมาจารย์ ติช นัช ตู (Most Ven. Dr. Thich Nhat Tu) รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยชาวพระพุทธศาสนาเวียตนาม ซึ่งทางมหาวิทยาลัยได้ร่วม MOU กันกับ มจร ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2549 โดยปัจจุบันได้ ลงนามความร่วมมืออีกครั้ง และหารือร่วมกันเพื่อขยายการจัดส่งนิสิตมาเรียน ร่วมทำงานวิจัย ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนอาจารย์กัน เพื่อพัฒนาการศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนาสืบต่อไป

On 8th Dec, 2562/2019, Vietnam Buddhist University Council take great pleasure in inviting Phra Sophonvachirabhorn to attend the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment of Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City.
Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU is together with Dr. Phra Seng Hurng Narindo and MCU to attend in Opening Ceremony the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment of Vietnam Buddhist University. This ceremony marks the 35 year journey of the Vietnam Buddhist University in educating and training talented monastic members and Vietnamese scholars for development of National Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. On this special occasion, they had propose to re-sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Buddhist University and MCU esteemed University at Vietnam Buddhist University, Ho Chi Minh City.
