วันที่ 9 สิงหาคม 2559 เวลา 13.30 น. พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต ผจล.วัดอรุณ ฯ และ รศ.ดร.สุรพล สุยะพรหม รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการทั่วไป พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ มจร และคณะนิสิตลาว ที่ศึกษาอยู่ ณ มหาวิทยาลัย ให้การรับรองคณะพระสงฆ์และเจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์กลางแนวลาวสร้างชาติ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ซึ่งนำโดยพระอาจารย์มหาเวด มะเสโน รองประธานศูนย์กลางองค์การพระพุทธศาสนาสัมพันธ์ลาว และ ท่านคำหยาด ลาดสะดาวง รองอธิบดีกรมการศาสนา พร้อมคณะ จำนวน 21 รูป/คน ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนไทยอย่างเป็นทางการระหว่างวันที่ 8 – 12 สิงหาคม 2559 และเยี่ยมชม ศึกษาดูงาน ที่ห้องสมุด และฟังบรรยายสรุป บทบาทและภารกิจการจัดการเรียนการสอนของมหาวิทยาลัย และประชุมหารือความร่วมมือทางการศึกษา ณ ห้องประชุม 401 อาคารสำนักงานอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย (มจร) อยุธยา

On 9th Aug, 2016, at 13:30, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU, Acting Director of Dhammaduta College of MCU was with executive administrators, lecturers and staffs of MCU to welcome executive administrators & officers of Lao PDR to Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Ayutthaya. Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU had a meeting with them and introduced the university about the studies education and systematical management at Meeting Room 401, the Office of Rector Building, MCU, Ayutthaya.
