วันที่ 2- 4 มิ.ย. 60 มีการประชุมสมัชชาสงฆ์ไทยในสหรัฐอเมริกา ในการนี้พระพรหมบัณฑิต (ป.ธ. ๙, ศ., ดร.) อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดการประชุมสมัชชาสงฆ์ไทยในสหรัฐอเมริกา สมัยสามัญประจำปี ครั้งที่ 41/2560
โดยมี พระโสภณวชิราภรณ์ (ไสว โชติโก) รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ รก. ผู้อำนวยการวิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่วิทยาลัยพระธรรมทูต มจร ร่วมประชุม และวันที่ 4 มิ.ย.60 ร่วมงานฉลองวัดมงคลรัตนาราม ครบ 35 ปี โดยมีพระธรรมทูตไทยมาร่วมงานมากมาย ณ วัดมงคลรัตนาราม เมืองแทมป้า รัฐฟลอริดา สหรัฐอเมริกา

On 2-6 June, 2560/2017, U.S.A: Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit, is Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), Ecclesiastical Governor of Region II, Chief Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawat in Bangkok, and a member of the Secretariat to the Executive Committee for the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand. He presides over the meeting of the Council of Thai Bhikkhus in the U.S.A.
